Survey Says...Your an idiot, @sshole, human wasteland...
This guy literally needs get the crap out of this country. I actually enjoy debate and think it's a healthy thing, but I would literally jack this guy in the face for what he said.
Iraq lying? Nahhh...couldn't be. Apparently 4,000 suicide bombers from 23 different Arab countries are ready to destroy the U.S. "invasion" force. Never mind the fact that their are only 22 arab "countries" I put countries in quotations, because one of these "countries" doesn't actually exist. Hint: It starts with a "P" and ends with a "alenstine"
and we wonder why the inspectors failed the first time?
I think I've just found the hypocrytical paranoid piece of liberal crap on the face of the planet. You know it's bad when ALL of hollywood thinks you're too far left.

to my commrades in arms
Sometimes it's worth it you know, taking pie after pie to the face. All you can see, feel, predict is the next pie in a seemingly unendless line of intellectual lashings. When out of nowhere, somebody gives you a towel, takes you by the hand and says, "Come on, let's get you cleaned up."
And sometimes you just stand there hip-deep in pie, waiting for some semblence, some indication that this isn't what you were meant for, that this isn't your eternal doom. You've already stretched out your arms reaching out into the unknown, beyond ground zero testing grounds for the new pastry weapon technology, merely hoping for the towel.

Ignorant Old People
Some rich old guy gave the AE department a bazillion dollars to totally renovate our existing airport facilities and build new ones, including a new 20-workstation computer lab. This is all well and good until TOG's official el clase de diablo instructor gets a hold of the the plans and decides that we should definately go 100% wireless. Still doesn't sound bad? How about if I told you that these 20 new computers will all be desktop computers? Still not getting it? The fact that these computers will remain in the same spot for the rest of their lives negates any possible advantage wireless may have. Still too dense? The wireless equipment for these computer would cost around $1500 more, run at 1/2 the speed at best, and be supceptable to interference.

a few valid points
1st point Over the past year and a half. Everybody and their dog has been ripping the U.S. for it's "unilateral" insistence on disarming Iraq. While their intentions may seem reasonable, their anti-war jargon is just plain wrong. Unilateral by it's very defination implies one side. And for the record: Militarily, the action is tri-lateral. Their are officially about 30 countries that support the action. 4 of the 6 largest economies in the world are represented by the coalition of the willing. So, the anti-war crowd should really replace "unilateral" with "not multi-lateral enough for us" in their repertoire. But that would sound nearly as condemning would it?
2nd point Doing a 6-degrees to *insert college basketball team here* in the NCAA tourney has got be the easiest and most pointless investigative task in the history of wit. The tournament has a total of 6 rounds, thus any team in the bracket can be connected to the national champion by virtue of whom beat whom. Just for kicks I'll give you an few examples:
2002: Boston University
Boston lost to Cincinnati (1) who lost to UCLA (2) who then lost to Mizzou (3) who lost to Oklahoma (4) who lost to Indiana (5) who lost to Maryland (6) in the National championship game.
2000: Appalachian State
Appalachian lost to Ohio State(1) who lost to Miami (2) who then lost to Tulsa(3) who lost to North Carolina(4) who lost to Florida(5) who lost to Michigan State(6) in the National championship game.
so there you go, everything else is just gravy

and now, today's crappy argument recently made
okay, it's not so much as a crappy argument, as it is a pointless argument. I hate it when 3rd parties argue about someone's best interest, especially in the economic sense. To anyone with a capitalist bone in their body sees this at totally futile. If what you are arguing really is in their best interest, chances are the would've already done it. If the don't do it, then they will suffer and someone else in the market will make more money, thus the "invisible hand" of capitalism has done it's job.
My main example is Microsoft. Pinko-nerds all over the internet argue Bill Gates and his company, they say things like, "If Microsoft really wanted to succeed they would release their source-code." or "Modifying their website to make it only look good with their browser is stupid, everyone is now going to hate them, they should make sure all browsers view it alike". I'm not going to point out the economic falacies in these statements, but I do have a rebuttal to these nay-sayers:
Who the hell are you to suggest to Microsoft what to do? You think that somewhere in your life you acquired some super-secret business skill? Oh, you forgot about the business didn't you? Yeah, that's right, business! It's all about the money, always has been, always will be. Think about the circumstances before you open your mouth again. Microsoft has inefficient, ineffective software, that is inferior to many other programs and operating systems being made today. And yet they virtually own the software business, and they obviously didn't get that way will superior products. They got that way because Bill Gates is the greatest business man to live in the last 20 years. and thus, I'm pretty sure he knows what's in his best interest better than you do.
okay, I'm done angsting.

and now, here's the "more"
On Wednesday I posted that I hope that the French and Russians veto any U.N. resolution for war. Now, here's my explanation:
The United Nations is a moral wasteland, any governing body that would put Syria in charge of human rights, and Iraq in charge of the U.N. Conference on Disarmament, has serious issues with it's virtuous ideals. And the idea that some higher power has to give a country permission to act in self-defense is absolutely ludicrous. I hope any new resolutions are vetoed, because we are joining to war regardless of what the peacenik countries say. And after we eliminate the Iraqi army from the face of the earth, it will become painfully obvious to the France's and Germany's of the world exactly how inconsequential they are, and it will open many people's eyes to the true nature of the U.N.
Hopefully the will then realize the error of an established global governing body that has an utterly complete disregard to essential individual rights.

French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin recently implied that both France and Russia would veto an U.S. backed resolution giving a U.N. approval of war. TOG is actually glad France and Russia will veto the vote (more on this later), but I am amazed at de Villepin's remark's after his pre-written speech.
He actually said the the inpections "were more and more encouraging," and then proceded to cite the destruction of Iraqi missiles, information being received about biological and chemical agents and interviews with scientists.
for those of you that don't speak the French lanquage of wussy, I'll paraphrase:

Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction.
